Bernie,
Other members may know more or actually have replaced an outhaul, but I would have thought you could pull the entire line and cable out the aft end of the boom, having attached a messenger line to the fwd end of the line. Then order an identical replacement and fish it in from the aft end using the messenger line. Rollie #182

Thanks Rollie,
I have the diagram, but it is a bit basic, and from what I can see outlines
the Reefing line rig. I can't see how I could access the Outhaul, or is this
attached to that reefing lines somehow (can't see that on the diagram)? You
are right the outhaul end is attached to a wire and looks like a block
inside, but can't see where the line terminates or I could access it without
removing the boom end to replace the line.
Cheers
Bernie

I recently lost my continuous reefing line in the boom and thankfully there
was a messenger line thru the boom for the fix.
Our outhaul exits the front of the boom as a line although the aft end is a
wire cable.? There should be a drawing in your Owners Manual or on the C320
website?

Hi folks,
My outhaul is looking a bit frazzled and I can't see an easy way to replace
it as it terminates inside the boom. Is there a good technique for accessing
it?
Regards
Bernie
