[C320-list] What a GREAT list...

Pattie and I just completed our holding tank project. We went from a measly
12 gal. (1994) to 22 gal., an 83% increase giving us 7+ days without
pump-out instead of 4. Not a piece of cake; but, definitely a DYI project,
IF... you are forearmed with information from this list, such as:

 o pictures sent by two owners of later model boats;
 o advice to pull the pump-out deck fitting up to make removal and
replacement of the hose a breeze, and force us to rebed that fitting: one
less to do in the future;
 o advice to use dish detergent on the fittings and hoses to make attachment
easier;
 o advice to use an auto tail pipe expander to make the hose attachments
easier, an absolute necessity in my opinion;
 o recommendations on hoses, installation, etc.
 o and etc., and etc.

Point is, without all the sage advice from those of you who have
been-there-done-that, I'm quite sure I would have stopped mid-project and
had the yard finish it.

What a list! What a bunch of good-hearted people (other than OD.) (Kidding)
Thanks to everyone who contributed these ideas.

PS I got the tank, hose and fittings from Catalina parts in FL. Couldn't
beat the price, and Ellie Quinn knows her stuff.
