[C320-list] Mooring Specs

Rick,
You may receive a number of responses, but I will provide a little guidance.  The chain should be at least 150% of the largest anyone recommends and the mooring cannot be too heavy (big).  No one ever complains that the anchor (that dragged) was too large.  As an engineer, I have always used too big an anchor and too much heavy chain for the rode. We have been subject to other boats dragging toward us when the wind speed was over the forecast.  If the mooring is to be your's for several years then the extra cost for 'over engineering' is worth the expense---actually there is not actually an over engineered situation:::just an ounce of prevention (or a pound).  Ken #219 OBUOY

Moving to a new club where you can purchase a mooring set up and sink it
yourself.

I have combed the net and cant find a guide to exactly what size chain and
mooring anchor are needed with our C320's depending on depth.

Anyone have an idea or a resource I can goto for info?

Thanks
Rick
