[C320-list] knot meter

I had this problem on my previous Catalina 28 on the ST50.
Before ripping things out, I would check that the problem is the
transducer. I removed mine from the hull, and then scored the wires
from the transducer about 12 inches away so I could put a multimeter on
the unit and spin the paddles to confirm if a current was induced.
Turns out the transducer was fine and my instrument cluster need a SW
reboot( some magic code held by factory technicians).
However I also found some new and used units on Ebay once I figured out
what needed replacing.

Ed,
I installed a transducer last year for a friend who has an older C36.
The transducer was a discontinued model, probably ST50. I'll try to find
out where he got it. Splicing the new unit into the existing wires was
very easy.
