If you are really worried about the voltage drop take a look at the
Manta II from REYA/Dolphin Chargers.  It is a solid state device that
only has a few mV drop.  They come in 2 or 3 battery isolators.  A
little pricey, $300, but I have been completely satisfied with mine.
