Here in the Florida Keys most achorages are relatively shallow, although there can be a lot of current. I use 20' of chain on both my primary and secondary anchors (primary a plow, secondary a Danforth) and have not had problems. Regards, Don Dixon Stargazer, #605 Key West, FL
