Mike,
I believe you mean a CO detector, and yes I have one and believe everyone
should have one.  Any internal combustion engine produces this deadly gas
and with an enclosed cabin the dangers are very real, especially if you have
a generator in addition to the engine.
I use a battery powered unit so I do not worry about shore power or
inverter failure.  Our unit is mounted low in the aft cabin (carbon monoxide
is heavier than 'air') and it has only gone off once when a "neighbor" was
running their gen set to keep cool---there was very little wind and we were
catching their exhaust.  Buy a good unit.

I'm looking for people's thoughts on CO2 alarms. Are they necessary? Has
anyone installed a CO2 alarm on their C320? Where did you place it and can
you
recommend a model?

Thanks,
Mike
