You must drop the rudder to remove the shaft. But the cutlass can be removed without pulling the shaft.

Someone here knows how to order the tool from the association, pay the postage.

Subject: [C320-list] Prop Shaft Removal

Ok so after about 3 huors of messing around I finally get the
coupler off the Prop Shaft
About another !/2 hour and the prop is off. But There is no way the
Prop shaft is coming out.
It will not clear the Rudder. Is this a fact of the 320, the shaft
can not be removed with out dropping the
rudder or I am I doing something wrong?? My intial intention was to
replace the Dripless shaft seal which is no longer dripless
and to replace the cutlass bearing. The cutlass bearing has ever so
little play but I am not dropping the rudder at this time just
to get the shaft out. I can just do the shaft seal and move on.,
Anyone have any advice or comments on removing the
prop saft. Is it doable with the Rudder in place am I missing something ?
