I don't believe they are 'performance' paints....look them up in the recent Practical Sailor test from last month...Trinidad was a Best Buy...

You should get that PS issue, it talks about paints and their relative performance in both colder and warmer waters...

Its a local thing here lots of sludge in the long island sound. Are the two you mentioned hard performace paints like vc and vivid?

I used the Proline on my C320 and use Trinidad SR on my CM440...

Both work great, durable--in So Cal waters, I would repaint every 3 years (just did that job on c l 3)

Btw...is it me or is it a local thing to clean the bottom once a week?

In So Cal we do it once a month (diver)....

Not sure of your local cleaning customs...

I would like opinions on anyone who has used the two products mentioned. 

I recently scraped "A Carefulwish" bottom clean of poorly applied bootom paint. So I now have a smooth clean what looks to be Epoxy coated bottom to work with. 

I sail in western LI sound club race and cruise. I get the bottom cleaned once a week when she's in the water. 

I am looking for opinions on durability ease and frequency of repainting performance and overall opinions.
