I am not a 'sparky' so I have to rely partly on memory ...

to test an anchor light from the switch panel
you set your hand held Multimeter to OHMs
---20k is the setting I use.
it will read "1 ." and "Zero" when you touch both leads together.
Put the (+) and (-) leads on the Anchor Light wires, if you get a Zero, you
have a complete Circuit and the light should work.
