[C320-list] Fresh water connectors

The sensors come apart by carefully prying the two halves  apart...there 
are two slots (opposite each other) where the small screw driver  goes.  After 
apart, there is a horseshoe shaped washer that fits between  the locking 
collar and the end of the fitting called a Collet clip...it pops out  by using 
a small screw driver.  The Collet clip is on page 101 of the 2009  Defender

How do  you remove the connectors on the blue and red plastic pipes for  
the  fresh water system? My previous owner used a 2" piece of copper  
pipe  in place of the blue pipe between the faucet T and the water  
heater.  This fitting drips.
