[C320-list] Exhaust elbow

Dave - OK, the problem appears to be that I have been using a laptop and
Palm Treo handheld while on vacation, getting to my e-mails through the
Verizon website,  and for some unknown reason, my reply gets stripped out.
I get an acknowledgment that my message has been received.  I also get my
e-mail back but my reply is stripped out of that also.  Perhaps someone
smarter than me can tell me what is going on...

What I said about the exhaust elbow is that heating the exhaust hose with a
hair dryer for perhaps 10 minutes or so makes the hose removal MUCH easier.
When putting it back on, lightly coat the inside 2 inches or so of the hose
with dish soap.  Also, replacement BEFORE one gets a pinhole leak is
advisable as the soot that blows into the engine compartment through a leak
is never completely removed.  Listen to the voice of experience on this one
from a mishap on my previous boat!
