[C320-list] Fwd: Re: Re Batteries & Fridge

I have a system where the solar panel and charging circuit from the engine
are connected to the batteries via a battery combiner and regulator.
The solar panel charges the AGM house battery, and when this battery is
full, it switches over to the engine starting battery.
The alternator charges the starting battery, and when this battery is full,
it switches over to the house battery.

This way there are no switches to flick (or forget to flick back). When the
boat is sitting in the sun, the house battery is topped up, then the
starting battery is kept full. I have never had problems with battery levels
as they are both kept full.

I will be setting the same sort of thing on my new 375.

Cheers

Simon
