I have hull #282 and it's the full size bilge.  They change in bilge did take place in the mid #200 hulls.
 
Don't believe everything that you read.

Karl, I have hull 249 with the shallow draft.  Gerry Douglas should have this information on hull and bilge changes.  Years ago this subject was brought up and I recall a bilge change starting in the 300s
