[C320-list] Canvas/Sail repair recommendation - Greater Baltimore

Brad, check out St. Michael's Sails. They will pick-up your sail at the
marina, clean and/or repair it, store it for the Winter and return it to the
marina in the Spring. I can't vouch for their work, but I've talked with
them on the phone and they seem knowledgeable and helpful. Also, check with
Danny's as Joe recommends. Danny is an excellent craftsman. I just got my
new dodger from him.

On my old dodger I had the same chaffing problem as you describe. I glued on
a piece of synthetic leather and that worked for a couple of years. If your
dodger is in good condition and you plan to keep it, I suggest you have a
canvas shop attach a chafe guard. Always keep your boom to one side when
furled; and, never let your main luff in a breeze unless you have the
topping lift engaged to hold the sheet gear off of the dodger.

Based on Bill's information I may have few options.

Canvas repair is my top priority. I have two areas where the canvas is worn

(Dodger and Bimini where the boom rubs, and some tears in the sail cover,
and loose stitching in the bimini.

For the rub areas I want to get some reinforced material to limit that
damage going forward.

I also have a very minor sail repair, so that is less important.

Anyone with recommendation? Price is important so would rather not just
goto to any loft in Annapolis that would likely consider this small stuff.

Thanks!

Concord Point and Ulmer/Skelly sailmakers have closed. The only canvas
business that I know of is:

Starbird Canvas

UK sailmaker in Annapolis pick up and deliver to my marina:
