[C320-list] Whisker Pole Topping Lift INSTALLATION

Has anyone added a Whisker Pole Topping Lift?
My mast needs one. To use the Spinnaker Pole Halyard is inviting problems.

I think it is a matter of cutting a slot in the mast to install a 'Single
Sheave Box".
This would then be Pop Riveted in place (after a mouse line had been
fitted).

I guess one would start by drilling a few holes in the mast, then file these
square.

any thoughts?
