Gee, I taught making stock this today (with chicken wing tips) and it had

I would get the Shaefer.  Makes the boat easer to sell in the long run since
it is "stock".

My boat neighbor needs to replace his RF on a Tartan 33. I have helped him
research the options--it came down to the Shaefer 2100 (which is currently
what Catalina installs on our boats) and the Harken. We went down to
Annapolis and talked to all the RF reps and he has decided on the Harken
based on price. It was significantly cheaper than the Shaefer (somewhat to
my surprise)--
