These are sealed devices and cannot be opened--you can get the details by calling Seaward Products. I just replaced my high temp gauge so I have recently gone through this with them--

After working in the instrument pod I reinstalled the instrument panel to discover the needle on the tach fell off!  Any idea how to open the lens on the tack so I can put the needle back on?
