Re turning to port in reverse.  

Stargazer #605 LOVES to go to port in reverse due to prop walk - its going to starboard in reverse that is the issue, and there the trick is to start with low RPMs, get some speed on, go to neutral and then helm over for the turn.

Your inabilty to go to port is NOT normal for the boat.
