[C320-list] Galvanic Isolator guidance...

Hi Rollie,
I think the best solution based on the research I've been doing is a model from Yandina that I will attach next to the shore power inlet. There is some controversy on whether it is necessary to purchase an isolator with capicitors--but I will go with this unless anyone on the list has input on this aspect--

Jon,
Did you decide on a galvanic isolator and the installation approach?

Thanks Stan--he is well aware as he's the one who brought it to my
attention. We is a master diver and works out of our marina so he has a good
idea of which boats have problems etc

Jon,
Please advise your diver to the danger of the boat next to you. The power
to that boat should be turner off at the circuit breaker while he's in the
water. All of those warning signs in the marinas that tell you no swimming
is allowed, are not there because of water quality. They are there because
people get electrocuted on a regular basis when swimming in marinas.
