over powered, or not--I have found that the 320 will out sail most 34/36 catalinas with proper trim. I have counted the spreaders and enjoyed leaving them behind. YEA.

I didn't count spreaders, but my opinion was that it was bigger than us so
that would make sense.
We still passed it, although I must admit with 20 knots of wind and a full
main and 135% we were overpowered.

If it had a single spreader, maybe it was a C36 Mk II? I think C320s go to

Passed a boat that was a Catalina something hull 1764. We were going so
fast we didn't get a look at her. My buddy thought she was a 320 but I
didn't think the hull numbers have gotten high.
Does any one know what hull number we are up to? What newer style (scoop
transom with swim ladder) Catalina is there with that high of number?
