Jamie and Lori - Where are you on the Bodkin?  I spent 2 years all the way
back at Pleasure Cove about 15 years ago.  The slip fees there are
outrageous now!  But what a great hurricane/storm hole.  We anchored in
front of the marina 2 years ago when a particularly violent storm came
through.  The tops of the trees were bending over almost in half...and we
barely moved on a 30 pound CQR with 6:1 chain scope out which shows how much
all those trees protected us.  And it is still a beautiful creek despite all
the development and piers coming out from the shoreline that weren't there

Warren / Allen - We're on the Bodkin, right at the mouth of the
Patapsco, and we would definitely be up for a weekend raft up if was not
too far.  One thought might also be a location like Swan Creek, just
north of Rock Hall - it gets a bit busy, but it is very centrally
located and reach-able from both Magothy, Severn, Annapolis area /
south, Patapsco, Middle River, etc, in a day's sail.  (admittedly a bit
of a haul from Herrington)

The current Vice Commodore and I would be interested in a C320 summer
raft-up.  We also will be going to the Regatta in Marina del Rey in
August;

A past C320 Commodore and I have mused in the past about the possibility
of
a C320 raft-up some weekend here on the Chesapeake. There are a ton of
C320s
here abouts.  For we out of Middle River, this probably means somewhere
between the Sassafras R. and Chester or West R. Of course we are retired
so
our range is greater than those who aren't. None the less, is anyone on
this
list interested in a C320 Chesapeake Raft-up?

Perhaps, with sufficient interest, we could make one for N. of the Bay
Bridge and another for S.

We might even be able to coordinate it with Commodore Karl's summer trip
to
Annapolis. What about it Karl?
