[C320-list] A/C Return Air Grill Size

I'm sure you guys in the southern climes suspected that my A/C remark was
issued with tongue in cheek. In New England waters, where the sailing season
extends from some time in June until maybe the end of September, A/C is not
an issue.

So, go ahead and enjoy chilling out.

cheers, jack

Jack,

As a southern california boater, I thought the same thing--who the hell
needs AC in a sailboat...

Well, then I attended the Chicago and Baltimore regattas and I'm here to
tell you, if you are at a marina on a windless, 90F, 90% humidity night and
you don't have AC....well, I'm sure that's what hell feels like...

Since we take off for Mexico in October and then on to the So Pacific in
2011, when I bought my CM440, I installed 2- 16,000 btu units tied to a 8KW
AC generator so I could enjoy nice cool nights while it roasted outside...

How about this: open the forward hatch and the main salon portholes and
enjoy the breeze. Air conditioning in a sailboat? Sheesh.
