Hi Annika
That is a solution to the problem.
I have not made this modification, but think it is only a matter of cutting
the port side curve out of the table (straight-edging it) to then attach a
hinged-leaf to same. However this would then add an unwanted 2 level 'main'
table (affecting the main table forward on the mast).
Perhaps the solution would be to have this extra port-side extension in an
easy attach manner.
This can then be stored when not required (in our case 99% of the time).
I hope to work out these logistics, soon.
