I've got the same custom elbow on hull #642 and hope to adopt the same
(relatively painless) solution. Thanks!

After phone call to parts department, 818-884-7700 California, I Fed-Ex my old elbow. Catalina did a two-day turnaround and shipped new one back.  It was one that needed exact angle to fit engine (that's why the need to send old one back) The new one came with insulation wrapping on elbow. Bought a crush washer and reinstalled... Not to bad of a job. Works fine. Cost was $227 plus shipping.I understand that on later models, hull numbers, they stopped using custom elbow, which allows newer boats to just buy replacement parts at boat supply house.Hope this helpsWalter "Bill" SchafferBohemian II, Middle River, MD
