[C320-list] fridge drain

There is a Y valve that needs to be turned from shower sump to refer drain.

I am in the process of winterizing a new to me 2005 320. My understanding is
that the fridge is drained via the shower sump.
I could not get the fridge to drain using the shower sump. If this is right
could it be something as simple as a clogged drain hose?
Any help would be appreciated.
