I've used A-Sails from both North and Doyle, with good results.  Very easy to 
andle, especially with a spin sock.  This past year, an engineer friend 
esigned and made up a J-boat style bow sprit, which extends the tack of the 
ail 3 1/2 feet in front of the bow.  It's a great addition to the boat - the 
ail flies in much clearer air, can sail deeper angles, and jibes in front of 
he forestay with ease.  When I get a chance, I'll post pictures.
