[C320-list] C320-list Digest, Vol 548, Issue 2

Hi Bruce

We usually start cruising in April and wind the season down in October. The
winters are normally mild in this area and yes the boat stays in all year.
In fact I often race the winter series as crew on a C&C34. I don't need to
winterize, just keep a couple of low wattage air dryers running to keep a
little warmth in the boat.

We recently did an 18 day cruise in Desolation Sound where the water
temperatures this year were 29 deg Celsius, or 85 deg. F. These are warmer
waters than we find on our vacations in Hawaii or Mexico. Lots of crab,
oysters, clams and salmon too .

Kirk,
How long is your season. Can the boat stay in the water year round?

A slip at Point Roberts WA, is about $2500.00 per year. Only extra is power
at maybe $200/ year. It's in one of the best cruising areas in N. America.

Tom:

Check the Boston Waterboat Marina. I think they are less than the
Constitution Marina but there is no parking included. Boston Waterboat is
very conveniently located behind the Marriott Longwharf on State St.
