[C320-list] Spinnaker sheets

Dyneema core with polyester cover, 8mm (5/16"), 65' each. Endura braid from
New England Ropes is a great spinnaker sheet. You can use a yacht braid with
polyester core and cover, like Sta-Set, but the Dyneema core absorbs no
water. The weight of the wet line will pull the leach of the sail tighter.
Ideally, you'd strip the first 10 feet or so off the sheet so the polyester
cover doesn't absorb water. You might also find 3/8" (10mm) line to be a
little easier to handle, but it's not necessary to handle the load.

If you're going to race, you'll probably want to have a light weight snap
shackle on the end of each sheet. A lighter weight solution, if you're not
in a hurry, is to simply splice a 2" eye splice in each sheet, pass the eye
through the clew, then the end of the line through the splice.

Enjoy the sail! It's gonna be great.

Subject: [C320-list] Spinnaker sheets

I am going to add an asymmerical spinnaker to my inventory.? I have
everthing I need except the sheets. I would appreciate any advice on type of
line, diameter, and length that anyone can provide.
Thanks
