[C320-list] Glide tape - SECOND REQUEST

Hi Jack,

There are different approaches to this. But to remove the hatch, you have to remove the hood that extends under the traveller. This isn't a big job at all. It will gice you a chance to clean out the drain tracks and clean the surfaces with acetone where the tape will stick.

Like Karl said, I'd purchase 2" wide tape and attach it to the underside of the hatch, not to the narrow rails.

It's a 2 beer project.

Having received no responses from my first query, I'm trying again. Here's the question:

The existing glide tape on the main hatch slider extends forward, under slider. Is
there some way to remove the slider to gain access to end of the tape -- so
that the existing tape can be removed and the new tape installed?

I saw several responses regarding places to buy the tape. Hasn't anyone actually replaced it?
