[C320-list] Blowing out the water lines

Hi Jim,

I separate the lines at the water pump and also under the sink. Most of the time is spent emptying the HW heater. Be sure to remove the check valve (looks like a small piece of copper pipe with an arrow on it) before trying to suck the water out of the heater drain.

You can blow the lines to the various faucets from either end, but don't forget the stern shower.

I generally start by drying out the tanks with a shop vac, then separate the lines at the pump and and sink. From there, its the stern shower, HW heater, head sink, galley sink.

I've finally had to replace the old vacuum on the boat and got a small wet vac with a blower. I'd like to start blowing out the water lines instead of using the pink stuff but I'm curious where to insert the blower nozzle. I'm afraid that if I do it from the tank outlet it could damage the diaphram on the water pump. Where does everybody else start from? Thanks.
