Probably easier to replace the entire ignition switch. I think mine costs
around $20 and ten minutes to replace.

That must be the secret location. Coast Guard regs require that the
number be in two places -- one on or near the transom and the other in a
not obvious place. I've always wondered where the second one was on
our boats!

Circling around and encasing the ignition key are two rubber grommets.
The inner does not move, the outer rotates with the key when it is turned to
start the engine. That outer grommet has cracked, broken and is no longer
serviceable. Does anybody know where to get another one, or what could be
used as a replacement? Thanks.
