Karl,

Very easy to do with the association tool. Actually you've already done the
hard part--removing the propeller. The only two pieces of advice are first,
doing it in the cold is actually a benefit. If you cool the new bearing, it
will slide in a bit easier. Some put them in the freezer before installing;
second, make sure you drill dimples in the new cutless bearing once
installed for the set screws and use locktite to keep them in--other than
that, very straight forward....good luck..

Subject: [C320-list] Cutlass Bearings

Hello:

I will be changing the cutlass bearing this winter or early spring. I would
prefer to do it this year, depending upon the Milwaukee, WI., winter
weather.

How long does it take? I took my Flex-O-Fold prop off this last weekend.
Does anyone have some tips in this process?

Your assistance is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Karl Krueger
