   I have used a WINDCHASER Mini dehumidifier model WHD-MW  for the last five years and have been very satisfied.  I set the unit in the sink and allow the condensation to drain into the lake.  I drilled a 1/4 inch hole near the top of the collection tank which allows the unit to run 24/7.  1-800-405-2943.   4130 Del Rey Av., Marina Del Rey, CA  Good luck.

Winter in San Diego, California means lots of humidity during the  evening 
hours where the temperatures can plunge to as low as 50  degrees.  Oh, the 
humanities!  
 
But I digress.    
 
What I really need right now is a lead on a good de-humidifier.  Any  
recommendations will be seriously investigated.
