Yes I have an balmar external regulator its set to AGM

here are a couple of excepts from the Lifeline manual (september 2009)

"The battery is fully charged when the
current drops below 0.5% of the battery's rated capacity (0.5A for a 100Ah
battery)."

"Time to Reach Full Charge = [(DOD/100) x Rated Capacity (Ah) ? Rated Output
of Charger(Amp)] + 2 hours.
For example, charging a 100Ah battery at 50% DOD with a 25A charger would
take:
[(50/100) x 100 ? 25] + 2 = 4 hours"

I find that the equation to estimate the charge time overestimates for large
battery sizes - people run into troubles when they don't take the current
low enough. With 2 D's @220 AH and a 100A charge you're looking at 4 hours
with a 50A charger about 6. You don't halve the charge time by doubling the
charging capacity.
