[C320-list] Help from electronics experts please...VHF not working

Just got back from a mini cruise and found my VHF is not working properly.
Basically, I can't receive/transmit. I can only receive 2 weather channels.
I took a quick look at Calder, but I'm looking for some troubleshooting
advice before I climb the mast and look at the antenna. Any
advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
