Karl, 

Glad to see you were able to put something together for the C320IA Annual
Meeting.  If you decide to hold a regatta let me know and I'll send you one
of the C320IA Victory pennants for the winner.  We should also be able to
find the current owner of the perpetual trophy plaque amd have it sent to
you.   

Congratulations and THANKS for your efforts as Commodore over the past three
years!!!!

Fellow Owners:

The 2010 Annual Meeting of the Catalina 320 International Association will  
be held in conjunction with the Catalina Yachts East Coast Rendezvous  
planned for the weekend of August 20 ? 22, 2010 at Spring Cove Marina,  
Solomons, MD.

Catalina has not yet released a schedule of activities for the weekend,  
but I feel confident that we can work our meeting into the schedule and  
hopefully a regatta also, should there be interest and an owner from the  
Solomons area that is willing to help organize (I can bring marks up with  
me, if needed).

Not to scare you from coming, but remember, that part of the meeting will  
be elections. While every position will be voted on, we are especially in  
need of volunteers to serve as Mainsheet Association Editor, Commodore,  
and Vice Commodore. Our Webmaster, Jeff Hare, is also looking to bring on  
some new blood and transition out of that role.

I have enjoyed serving as your Commodore for the past 3 years, but feel it  
is time for someone else to step up and provide new leadership. If you  
desire to serve in any capacity, or want to suggest someone else, please  
let our Secretary, Pat Reynolds, or myself know. You do not need to attend  
the annual meeting in person in order to get involved or to be elected. We  
know that there are many demands on your time, but I implore you to step  
up and help your association. We are very thankful for every level of  
participation, so please consider investing your time and talents.
