[C320-list] Rigging for 30+knts

Hi Pat,

If you haven't upgraded your Genoa Cars to the Garhauer line controlled cars, these can be a great help for de-powering your genoa under sail without tacking first.

Also, you might consider rigging a cunningham to control the draft on your main when not reefed.

Finally, a backstay adjuster will help flatten the main *slightly* (assuming your forward lowers are properly tensioned) and tighten up the headsail sag.

All

Thank you for the benefit of your experience. Appreciate the advice. Looks
like the take aways are....new sails (no bags allowed), double reef, flatten
until the stitches pop, use good gloves, depower, raise a small jib, and run
for cover when it just does not work.
