Bill, 

Along with other suggestions, the best way to eliminate the possibility of 
the fresh water system is to listen for your pump to cycle while the fresh 
water pump is on. If the pump comes on, even for a few seconds when not 
using any of the faucets, then it is coming from your fresh water system. I 
had to replace my hot water heater two weeks ago because of this. I also use 
a liter bottle to capture the blow off from the hot water pressure valve. 
This way I know if I have another problem if I see water in the bilge...good 
luck and let us know what you find...

 still have a pesky leak from somewhere aft into the bilge. I'veeliminated 
the aft water tank (drained with no change) and have prettywell verified 
that it has something to do with motoring.  The leakstops after a few days 
away from the boat and begins again after a dayof sailing with motoring in 
and out of the slip.  Then the leakdribbles for several days before it 
quits. There is no antifreeze in the water. Other than the packinggland, 
anyone have other ideas?
