Bruce,

We sail in the Great Lakes (fresh water with weeds, mud and rocks being the 
predominent bottom types) using a Delta plow (22#s) with 20' of chain and 
200' of nylon warp.  Works well in most conditions but we have a backup 
Fortress 11# with 10' of chain and 200' of warp for use in the occasional 
sand patches.
