Hi, I wish to add to this outlet. I was told a long time ago, Put ,transmission fluid in the filters bowls , to clean the out the filters and injectors on a diesel injector. This has work for me , for over 20 years. Am I doing some thing wrong ?? TOM 916

Subject: [C320-list] No Fuel
Yesterday I changed the primary fuel filter on our C320 Yanmar 3GM30F. It was
lean, but I replaced it and the seals. Following the Yanmar manual I opened
hat I think are the correct bleed bolts and used the fuel lift pump to charge
he system with fuel, but nothing came. The engine has only about 500 hours on
t, tanks full and fuel shutoff open. I started the engine to see if that would
ill the fuel line, but after running for about 3 minutes it slowly ran down and
topped, presumably starved of fuel. I even tried tuning the engine when
ecompressed to move the fuel lift pump on its cam, but nothing. Before I call
n the cavalry, does anyone have an idea of what may be
wrong?
