Chris - Either go to the Association website and complete a loaner request
form or send me the shipping info plus preferred shipping method including
how fast you want it and whether or not someone needs to sign for the
shipment. Again, I can ship on Tuesday. - Allan

I'll take the loaner. My email is cdescher at cedtulsa.com. Please let me
know what I need to do to get this.

Thanks to everyone for your help on this.

Chris - The Association has the tools that make short work (about 2 hours
with 2 people with about 1/2 hour of that figuring out how to use the thing)
of removing the cutlass bearing and installing a new one. The Rudder does
NOT need to be dropped or come out. The prop needs to come off and there is
a prop puller with the Association tool. You very probably will need a MAP
Torch to heat the prop up enough for it to pop off; I obviously can't ship
the torch. And unfortunately, I am out of town until Tuesday, the first day
I could ship the Association tools. But if you want the loaner, just let me
know. At the end of the day, there is no way this would take 6 hours even
with one person.

I'm having a bottom job done on hull #500, 1998 model. The cutlass bearing
is being replaced at the same time. The yard is saying (after the fact)
that they've had to put six hours into pulling the shaft, they now have that
done, but they think that they might need to pull the rudder to get the
shaft out of the strut. Does this sound right?
