I mounted mine above the NAV table on the small section of bulkhead. The mounting arm I bought from Best Buy allows the TV to swing around and be viewed from about anywhere on the boat including the cockpit. When not in use the TV lays flat just above the electrical panel

Unless you are planning to watch the TV from the V-berth, isn't the forward
ulkhead the best
pot for a TV???? Just a thought. Later this year I plan to mount one on the
ort side forward
ulkhead. Who ever is cooking can then see it, maybe even from the cockpit.
But I think you are on the right track with those spacers. You can use anything
or spacers, blocks
f plastic wood would probably work great.

I’m installing an 19-inch combo TV/DVD player onto the wall between the
alon and head. Following earlier advice on this forum I drilled 2 holes
for the mounting bracket) on the salon side through the fibreglass wall on
hat side only. Then I filled the void (at least ¾-inch in my case) with
-part epoxy. When I drilled through again (this time planning on going all
he way through to the head, the epoxy fell apart. I suspect I could not
et the epoxy to reach all the way to the other side through my ¼” hole.
ext I attempted to use an expanding metal anchor (the type that spread out
n the middle, not the toggle type as not enough room)). Only problem was
ith ¾ space inside I could only find small anchors which had 6/32 machine
crews. These fell apart when I tried to tighten so I had to knock them
nto the wall cavity with a hammer. I looked at a Catalina next to me with
TV mounded but it’s a 310 and I presume similar construction to the newer
20 Mark ll. It has no cavity between the walls. My 320 is not a Mark ll.
o now I’m thinking of drilling larger diameter holes on the salon side to
ccommodate plastic spacer bushings (various sizes come with many TV mounts
to be used for other purposes). Then drilling smaller diameter holes
hrough to the head sized for the bolt. On the head side I would use dome
uts (to look fancy) , lock washers and fender washers. This way all the
oad would be only on the head side fibreglass wall. I’m presuming that
all alone is strong enough if I use washers on each side to spread the load
omewhat?
