Yes, I believe several people among us have used it. 

I think it would be great for the folks with the newer 3YM Yanmar because the water pump cover faces out.  With the 3GM I doubt it would add a lot of value because you probably have to remove the pump to change impellers.  Well, I do anyway.  

So, yes this would let you maybe get the cover off faster but good luck getting the old impeller out and a new one in with fins pointing the right direction just by feel.
