[C320-list] Nav Station Lid Support

Mine is just a small ss spring that is bent over in closed position.
When you open the lid fully, it snaps into the in-line position and locks.
Simply press the spring to release. Nothing to adjust or lube.
No more holding lid open with my forehead while I rummage the space below.

then tends to be too strong -- What type spring did you use -- gas or

If you don't have one already, be sure and add one of the spring props to
keep the top up while you rummage. I did and it works great. The spring
snaps into the locked position at full open and a gentle push lets it close.
I told Gerry it should be standard equipment like on more expensive boats,
