There is a very good article in the August edition of the English magazine    "Practical Boat Owner"  called  'Taming the loo" by Dr Tom Miller.   I buy this mag regularly but its always on our news stands two months late here in Sydney.
  It has a diagram and photo of his installation showing a small auxiliary biocide tank run as a T junction off the inlet line operated by closing the inlet valve and pumping thru some biocide if leaving the boat for any extended time. The two page article is much more fulsome than my comments and is worth a read.
