Thanks Rick. I'm actually going to try that while waiting for the O-rings to
arrive. I noticed a bit of a wiggle when turning the handle and after
talking with Forespar he mentioned the screw inside the white plug. Thanks
for the tip....

Regarding the Seacock weeping..I found that giving the screw that attaches
the handle a slight snug to tighten the handle against the body of the
Seacock stopped the weeping (apparently placing increased pressure on the
o-ring).  On my boat there is a white nylon plug in the handle that hides
the screw. I understand that the plug was designed to be used to stop water
from entering the thru-hull if it placed on the hull side, and then may be
removed with a string attached to retrieve the plug.
