8+ years with the stock head, zero problems, but we do dump a lubricant in  
the bowl once a month when we leave after a weekend, flush until smooth  
pumping, and let it set until the following week.

I also switched the Jabsco out with a Raritan two seasons ago--so much
better!

Take Peggy's advice and replace with the Raritan PHII!!!!  The single best 
upgrade I've done.  Fairly simple to replace but you will need to drill new 
attachment bolt pattern.
