[C320-list] burping not required?

How great, the new ones require no burping---IF ONLY the new baby did not require burping!!

Air get in and the carbon race needs water for lubrication.  I suggest the
next time you hall you b oat you change it if it is more than 6 years old.
I did to the newer style.  No burping needed.

I have one of those seals and was wondering why one would burp it?  Is it,
"because you can" or is there a reason for burping?  

I have owned the 320 since April of 2010 and have a lot to learn.  Hence the
question.
