[C320-list] hatches

I tried to pry off the plastic but was afraid it would break. The best I could do was to spread it open some but not enough to see what is underneath. Is there a trick I'm missing? Did you pry it off with the hatch open or closed?

Amazing!
I was sitting on my deck yesterday staring at my hatch hinge trying to
figure out how to tighten it, when you email arrived on my phone. I opened
it and I got the answer. What a great world we live in.

Mine sound like they were a tad different than yours though.
When I removed the gray plastic cover I found two small discs on a threaded
shaft. To tighten the hinge, I put a hex wrench in the holes of one disc and
rotated it on the shaft. Easy Breezy.

These is a small Allen set screw that increases the friction in the hinge.
It is below the gray plastic cover along the hinge shaft (in the middle)
that needs to be removed first by gently prying with a screw driver. I
recently adjusted mine. It is very easy to do.
